Setup – Service Tab

The service tab allows you to create and manage your services, whether general services, repair or categories.

 

Categories: This button allows you to create various categories in which you can categorize the different services you offer. Please note that is only used to generate the Service Sales report.

General service: This button allows you to create services your business might offer. Considering services aren’t quantifiable, you cannot create services as items in your inventory.

Repair service: The Repair Services button allows you to create services that relates to item repair.

Protections: Protections as a service will generally servce as warranties and/or replacements in case of a problematic or defective item.

How to create a service category

    • Click on the Setup icon at the upper right of your screen.
    • Select the Service tab.
    • Click the Categories button.
    • Click +Item to create a new category.

  • Name the categories in question, for example: “Garage services”.
  • On the right-hand side, you can add any additional information you deem relevant to your services.
  • Click Apply so the type is added in the tree on the left.
  • Click OK.

How to create a General service

    • Click on the Setup icon at the upper right of your screen.
    • Select the Service tab.
    • Click the General button.
    • Click +Item to create a service.

  • Name the service; “Hard Drive installation” for example.
  • On the right-hand side, you can add any additional information you deem relevant to your service.
  • Click Apply so the type is added in the tree on the left.
  • Click OK.

How to create a Repair service

    • Click on the Setup icon at the upper right of your screen.
    • Select the Service tab.
    • Click the Repair button.
    • Click +Item to create a repair service.

  • Name the repair service; “Battery replacement” for example.
  • On the right-hand side, you can add any additional information you deem relevant to your services.
  • Click Apply so the type is added in the tree on the left.
  • Click OK.

How to create a Protection service

    • Click on the Setup icon at the upper right of your screen.
    • Select the Service tab.
    • Click the Protections button.
    • Click +Item to create a protection service.

  • Name the protection; “1 year warranty” for example.
  • On the right-hand side, you can add any additional information you deem relevant to your services.
  • In the Price range configuration, you must configure the protection fees based on the sale price of the item.
  • Click Apply so the type is added in the tree on the left.
  • Click OK.
