Proposal Templates in Alice

How to set proposal templates in Alice.

Alice gives you the possibility of creating proposal templates for a more professional and personalised quote. 

These templates consist of a cover page with a picture of your choice, feature the name of your client, as well as your invoice logo at the bottom left corner of the proposal. 

You will also be able to add ‘Kit templates’ to your proposals; containing serialized, quantity, and bulk items, which can be configured ahead of time to help facilitate your proposals. 

 

How do you configure the Proposal templates? 

In order to configure your proposal templates: 

  1. Go to Configuration, under the ‘Invoice’ tab, Page 5.

 

2. Select the (+) to add an Item.


    1. You can then name your Proposal template

    2. Then add the Image you wish to appear on the cover page of your Proposal template.

 

*Note: This photo will appear on the cover page, when you will apply your Proposal template to your Quote*  

 

 

How do you apply a Proposal template to your Quote? 

 
  1. In the Invoice module, with the ‘Quote option selected, proceed to add any item needed to complete the quote for your client. 

  2. When finalizing the Quote, you will notice the options to print the quote in an invoice or a quote format are available. 

  3. Once the Quote option is selected, you must then select a Proposal template which will be applied. 

  4. After which, you need only select ‘Finalize transaction’ for the printing, or email send off to complete the quote.
